FBI Issues Alert For Wanted 'Dapper Dan Bandit' In Virginia

The FBI continue their search to find the "Dapper Dan Bandit" who stole money from a North Chesterfield bank, officials said.

On Sept. 29, the armed suspect walked into the First Community Bank, located in the 11000 block of Midlothian Turnpike, and demanded the teller hand over money, according to the FBI.

The teller complied and the suspect fled with the money and gun, on foot, authorities said. 

Here is the description of the "Dapper Dan Bandit":

  • Slim, white man with brown hair
  • Around 5'8" and between 40 to 50 years old
  • Wearing a flannel cap, light colored dress shirt, a dark blue blazer, khaki pants, white socks, brown dress shoes
  • Also wearing sunglasses, a white medical-style mask, and black "mechanics" gloves with white letters
